• Firearm (Pistol Caliber or anything chambered in .22LR, semi-automatic or revolver firearms are preferred)
• 4-5 magazines or speed loaders
• Holster designed for your firearm/Bag (If you don't have a holster you need a case or bag)
• 200 rnds of ammunition
• Hearing Protection
• Eye Protection
• Appropriate clothing (close toed shoes, crew neck to prevent hot brass down shirt)

Recommended but not required:

• bag/backpack/cart for all of your equipment
• chair to sit in when you are not shooting
• suncreen
• water/snacks

Speed Steel is held the last Saturday of each Month. During this time we close down the Club House, Shotgun, Training Bay, and Turning Target Ranges. Start time is 8:30 during July and August, and 9:00AM the rest of the year (January through October).Event is usually complete by 1:00PM at the latest.

Each stage is shot 5 times by each shooter per gun. The fastest 4 times are added together to determine your "score" for the stage. Each stage consists of 4 targets and stop target. The first four targets can be engaged in any order and the stop plate last. Once the stop plate is struck additional shots only add time to your score. For example, if you shoot target 1, 2, 3, miss target 4, 4, and then the stop plate you have no misses added to your time. If you shoot 1, 2, 3, miss target 4, and then the stop plate you have 1 miss. 

Price to participate is $10 per gun per shooter. First time shooters shoot their first gun for free.
