Scheduled Events / Range Closures

If you wish to schedule an event please email us at gunclub@wenrrc.org at least 30 days in advance with your request.  Dates are subject to change so keep checking this calendar.

The Bullseye group meets in the indoor range on Monday mornings, from 8 am - 11 am, and Wednesday nights from 5pm - 8pm during the indoor shooting season (winter months).   During the outdoor shooting season  the Bullseye group meets at the outdoor Bullseye range (located behind the Club House) on Monday mornings, from 8am - 11am, and Wednesday nights from 5pm - 8pm.  We are always looking for new pistol shooters who would like to try their hand at Bullseye (Conventional) Pistol shooting, so feel free to show up during those times and see what we are doing.  Everyone is welcome.
If you have a Ruger 10/22 please check out the "Ruger National Match" page of this website.  These matches are held after we finish with the pistol portion of our regularly scheduled matches and are a lot of fun.  (12-22-2013  Due to the shortage of .22lr ammo, these matches are not currently being held.)
Thank you.

If you are looking for information regarding the scheduling of WRRC's Safety & Orientation Class, please check the home page of this website.  Thank you.

Attention:  Some members are restarting the Indoor .22 rifle benchrest matches on Friday afternoons, with shooting to start around 3 pm.  This type of match was a mainstay of member competition for many years and we are glad to see it coming back.  All members are welcome.

Bench rest rifle matches to be held on the Upper Range.  Tom Peyton, match coordinator.

Bench Rest Matches are held the 2nd full weekend of the months March through July. These matches are held at the upper range and start at 8:30 AM. We shoot 100-200 and 300 yards typically shooting 2 yardages in a day. A yardage consists of a warm up match followed by 5 record matches 1 through 5. Each one of this matches consists of a target with a sighter  and 5 record bulls. You are allowed 7 minutes to shoot each match with 15 or 20 minutes in between. The score for a yardage is based on 25 record shots with a possible 250 points and 25 X's. These matches are open to anyone that would like to shoot and are a great way to learn the conditions that makes shooting a challenge. To shoot a yardage you would need at about 60 rounds of ammo for the rifle you are shooting and bipods or a rest to shoot off the bench with. There is a fee of  $5.00 per yardage to cover target costs. Be an hour early or so to get set up. Any one that would like to come up and watch or check it out is more than welcome just bring some good ear protection with you. If you have any questions feel free to call me at 509-679-9618 or email me at tpeyton151@hotmail.com. Thanks Tom Peyton.
